I have got a ferris wheel view Overview
First Impressions
When I first walked into I have got a ferris wheel view, I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect from a place with such a quirky name. But you know what? The name actually makes perfect sense once you see the view from the windows. This four-star property sits right on The Walk in Jumeirah Beach Residence, and yes — you really do get an incredible view of Ain Dubai, that massive ferris wheel that’s become Dubai‘s newest landmark. The lobby feels modern and welcoming, though not overly fancy — it strikes that nice balance where you feel comfortable without feeling underdressed.
The Location Magic
I mean, the location is honestly what makes this place special. You’re literally steps away from the beach, and The Walk buzzes with energy pretty much all day and night. There are dozens of restaurants and cafes right outside your door, plus you can walk to the marina in about ten minutes if you want to see the yachts and grab dinner somewhere fancier. What I really appreciated is how easy it is to get around from here — the tram stops nearby, and getting to places like Dubai Mall or the old city doesn’t require multiple transfers.
The Room Experience
The room I stayed in was actually larger than I expected, with floor-to-ceiling windows that really show off that ferris wheel view (especially beautiful at night when it’s all lit up). The bed was comfortable, and I loved having a little seating area where I could sit with my morning coffee and watch the beach come to life. The bathroom was clean and modern, though nothing too elaborate — just good, solid amenities that work well. Air conditioning was powerful, which you definitely need in Dubai’s heat.
Daily Life at the Hotel
Breakfast happens in their main restaurant, and while it’s not the most extensive spread I’ve seen, they do a decent job with both international and Middle Eastern options. The staff there actually remembered my coffee preference after the second day, which was a nice touch. There’s also a small fitness area if you need to work out, though honestly, walking along the beach and The Walk gives you plenty of exercise. Parking can be a bit tricky during peak times since this area gets busy, but the hotel staff helped sort that out.
Why Guests Love It
What really works about this place is how it puts you right in the middle of everything without the premium price tag of some of the beachfront giants. Couples seem to particularly enjoy it here — and I can see why, since you get that romantic ferris wheel view plus easy access to romantic dinner spots along The Walk. The whole JBR area has this relaxed, almost European promenade feel that’s different from other parts of Dubai. You’re close enough to the action but can actually get a good night’s sleep, which isn’t always easy to find in this city.
