The metro station is close enough that you don’t need to rely on taxis for everything, which actually saves you quite a bit of money in Dubai.

The rooms here are what I’d call thoughtfully designed — not massive, but everything has its place and the views (especially if you snag a marina-facing room) are pretty spectacular. The beds are genuinely comfortable, and you know what really impressed me? The blackout curtains actually work. In a city where the sun can wake you up at 5 AM, that’s not a small thing. The bathrooms are modern and well-maintained, though I wouldn’t call them spacious by any stretch.
